The Sephardic House Hotel

The Sephardic House hotel nestles at the very heart of the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City - an exquisite jewel offering the ultimate hospitality in the magical atmosphere of Jerusalem. The building was first built some 200 years ago and completed towards the end of the 19th century. From the residence, there are superb views of the Old City and the City of David.

The complex boasts 51 guest rooms located in three separate wings, each offering a different level of accommodation and hospitality:
Deluxe wing - offers superb and luxurious accommodation in 12 rooms and 3 suites. The entire storey of deluxe accommodations faces towards the charming patio with its echoes of a traditional Spanish courtyard orchard.
Rishon LeTzion wing - a wing suitable for private events, such as family gatherings, with 6 rooms.
Economy wing - with 30 standard guest rooms for dual and single occupancy.

The Sephardic House is located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, alongside other historic and holy sites.
A walking distance away from the lively Shuk alleys of the old city, the ancient "Hurva" Synagogue, The Western Wall, Mount Zion, The Kotel Tunnels, The Armenian Quarter, The Cardo, The Church of the Holy Sepulchre and many more historic sites.

The Western (Wailing, HaKotel) Wall

The Western Wall is considered the holiest site to the Jewish nation. The Western Wall is one of the "Complete" remains that survived the destruction of the temple mount, this is why the Western Wall has become the main pilgrimage site for religious Jews that come to pray at the wall and for all other religions and tourists.

The "Hurva"

In the beginning of the 18th century, Rabbi Yehuda Hasid along with a group of immigrants, built the Hurva Synagogue. After it was destroyed in the 18th century, the Synagogue was rebuilt in the 19th century by part of the Gaon from Vilna's students. In 1948, the Arab Legion conquered the Old City and destroyed the Hurva Synagogue. The Hurva Synagogue was rebuilt again and in March of 2010 it was opened to visitors.

The Church of the Holy Sepulcher

According to most Christian traditions, The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is the place Jesus was crucified, the place he was buried and resurrected. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is the holiest place to Christianity. Pilgrims from all over the world visit the the Church and attend Masses and prayers

The Cardo and Burnt House

The main road that divided Roman and Byzantine Jerusalem is called the Cardo. Today, the Cardo has been renovated with amazing authenticity and is a main tourist site. At the Cardo you will find painting galleries, Judaica shops, ancient marble pillars and Madaba's Map, which according to this map the Cardo was excavated and found.

In 1969 the Burnt House was found which was originally called "Beit Katrus" after the family of Cohens that occupied the house during the Second Temple Period. The Burnt House was destroyed during the massive uprising by a large fire. In the Burnt House are coins, stone tools, glassware and more. In the Museum you can watch a movie depicting the life of the Cohens and the events that lead to the great fire and destruction.

The City of David

Ancient Jerusalem or The City of David is an archeological site and is located on the "Ophel" mount. The "Ophel" mount is located south of the walls of the old city of Jerusalem.
On this mount in the City of David are a lot of artifacts from the First Temple Period. In the City of David site you will find tours for visitors that depict the life in the City of David and it's history.

Old Yishuv Court Museum

At the Old Yishuv Court Museum you are invited to experience and get to know the life of the Jewish families up to the destruction of the Jewish Quarter in the War of Independence. In the Old Yishuv Court Museum in the Jewish Quarter, items depicting the family life in the Old City are displayed. You will also find exhibitions, workshops and more
