General Description
The Astoria Galilee Hotel serves as a departure point for trips in the area and offers discounts and benefits for various sites: Kayaks, Tiberias hot springs, water parks, jeep tours and of course the annual Tiberias Marathon. The city's cultural center and city tennis courts can be found nearby.
In 2016 extensive renovation of the hotel was completed, and a new wing of premium rooms with a very high finish level was built. Throughout the hotel there were paintings of hand-made art by the international Tiberian artist Amos Yaskiel and now all the colors and landscapes of the Galilee are being brought to the hotel.

Meals
The hotel's family-style dining-room serves rich and varied breakfasts and dinners, daily. In addition, every afternoon the hotel bar is open, serving hot and cold drinks and an assortment of alcoholic beverages and cakes and pastries. Lunch is served by advance reservation only. In addition, groups can order "meals to go" for day trips and activities. Our staff would be only too glad to recommend sites and attractions in the area.
