THE POST is located at 23 JAFFA RD, JERUSALEM. THE ENTRANCE IS FROM 3 KORESH ST.

BY FOOT

From the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, walk East for 2.2 km (about 25 minutes) along Jaffa Street until you reach the Central Post Office at number 23. Walk around the building and enter at 3 Koresh Street.

BY TRAM

Get on the train at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, heading towards "Air Force". Get off at the 5th stop, which is "City Hall" Walk back 100 meters towards the Central Post Office at 23 Jaffa Street. Walk over to the left of the building, go down the stairs and enter at 3 Koresh Street.

BY CAR

Take highway 1, entering Jerusalem from the west. Continue straight on Shazar Boulevard and then Shazar Boulevard. Turn left to Rupin Road and continue straight to Ramban Street. Turn right to Arlozorov and left to Ben Maimon. At the large junction (Paris Square), continue straight to Agron Street. At the bottom of the street turn left on to Shlomo Hamelech and take the first left to Koresh Street. We are located 200 meters down on the right side (3 Koresh St.).

We offer over 40 comfortable rooms, including shared rooms (4, 8, 10 or 12 beds) and private rooms for couples and families. The private rooms are for 2 to 3 guests and also feature a sofa bed and a comfortable chair for maximum comfort and flexibility.

DOUBLE

Double rooms are designed for two guests and include a personal en-suite bathroom and shower. Furnishings include a double bed, nightstand, chest of drawers, desk, and television. 

TRIPLE

Triple rooms are suitable for 3 guests, including a couple + one child or three persons traveling together. Each room has its own private bathroom and shower. Furnishings include double bed + convertible sofa bed or extra single bed, nightstand, chest of drawers, sofa, desk and television set.

DORMS

Our selection of dorms can accommodate 2, 4, 8, or 12 people, each with an en-suite bathroom and shower. Rooms include comfortable bunk-beds and have personal nightstands for each guest.

GALLERY

The gallery room is designed for 2 guests and 2 children or 3 guests and includes a personal en-suite bathroom and shower. Furnishings include a work desk and an easy-to-use sofa.

An Israeli breakfast is served free of charge and includes vegetables, cheeses, squash, bread and toppings. Meal is served in the common area from 7:00 to 10:00.

Guest Kitchen / Communal Table

The guest kitchen is equipped with everything you need to fix yourself a quick snack or a nice meal anytime - day or night. Our oversized communal table is comfortable and inviting. Eating together is one of life's greatest joys!

Shared Space

Most of our guests enjoy a balance between privacy and social events. Our public spaces provide uniquely defined social settings that let you find the right space and activity for you; a quiet evening or the chance to explore something new indoors.

Open Lounge

Our lounge is a versatile space that changes throughout the day and night. Feel free to sit back and read a book, chat with friends or take in the daily evening event. The perfect place to hang out.

Outdoor Roof Terrace

Breathe in the fresh, crisp mountain air of Jerusalem and enjoy the view. Our rooftop terrace is a great place to rest and relax, with a book, a drink or just the sight of this magical city.

CHILLOUT Room

If you feel like spending a quiet evening indoors, feel free to come by the recreation and movie room. We have daily events and some of the latest movies screened each night. Sit back, relax and take in the in-house entertainment.

THE POST is located on the top floor of the historical Central Post Office of Jerusalem.

Built between 1934-38 and designed by the public works department of the British Mandate, this unique architectural monument integrates both the international style as well as the traditional Jerusalem design.

It was originally the home of the Palestine Post, Telegraph & Telephone, the Jerusalem central telephone exchange and the city's post office and serves as the central post office until this day. Its exterior is an expression of its history, with influences from various periods and cultures, including seven arches along the main entrance, five of which were originally openings for selling postage stamps. English, Hebrew and Arabic writing can be found along them, indicating the fusion of cultures and religions of this special place.

The construction process for THE POST considered the historical and architectural importance of this building, gently peeling back layers of history. The delicate process revealed the original walls, floors and ceilings of this unique landmark, bringing history to life and enhancing the connection between past, present and future. THE POST sends its visitors back in time, while remaining very much alive and in tune with the bustle and motion of today's city.
