Thermia Palace Ensana Health Spa Hotel Hotel
General Description
Ludovít Winter, the founder of Spa Piešťany, had a vision. He wanted to build not only a luxury hotel for the nobility and the rich bourgeoisie, but a special hotel with own spa, which should completely satisfy the visitors by its short ways.
The result is the Thermia Palace Health Spa Hotel, opened in 1912, and the adjacent Irma Health Spa - two jewels in Art Nouveau architecture that, over 100 years later, still delight their guests with their spectacular architecture and deserve the predicate "Luxury" because of the attentive service and the quality of their medical expertise and services.

The 118 rooms (including 16 spacious suites) of the Thermia Palace Health Spa Hotel have been lavishly renovated to preserve the splendour of the historic Art Nouveau design.

Sport Facilities
On a beautifully landscaped island, with lily ponds and peacocks, in the middle of Slovakia's River Váh, sits a complex of six Ensana spa hotels, all dedicated to your health and wellbeing.
Piešt'any's peacock emblem refers to the legend of the bird who wallowed in the island's muddy swamps until its broken leg was healed. The island's other symbol, a bronze crutch breaker, is also testimony to the power of the sulphurous muds and hot thermal water, that have given Piešt'any its centuries-long, global reputation for healing muscular skeletal and locomotive conditions.
Our famous Mud Pool, lit by shafts of light from stained glass windows under a vaulted dome, is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau design, rivalled nowhere else in all of Europe.
Idyllic Piešt'any is a paradise spa island for health spa tourists.
Spa
The Irma Health Spa was quite unique when it was built in 1912. New was at that time, that the spa building was directly connected to the Thermia Palace Hotel and could be reached without having to step outside.
More than 100 years later, the Irma Health Spa is still unique. In addition to a beautiful historical thermal pool - the so-called Mirror Pool - the beautifully restored building also houses the really extraordinary Mud Pool. The spectacular Art Nouveau architecture makes this the most atmospheric pool in Slovakia. Here you can bathe in healing waters and medicinal mud at a temperature of 39°C and go on relaxed to one of the over 60 different spa treatments.
